I had a hard time with making one too...but i finally decided on one and only use it on the corners of paintings or drawings I do.
They say you can tell a lot from someone's doodlings..
I liked a lot of those. Better than anything I could do. My hands are good at making music...not drawings... :(
You could always go for the rubber stamp.
I cant do my signature. I have never come up with one. Although i am just starting to sign 'IM' now.
I dont do autographs anyway.

what about a large P with 'hil' written in the circle of the P?
Have you considered a swirly script instead of blocks that you were doodling? I agree, its hard to come up with a good trademark.
I noticed you had one which looked like a line going through the middle of a rectangle. Did you know that it looks like the word "middle" in Chinese?
